Introducing the KBSC exclusive Heritage Shave Set Forged from Tradition, perfected by hand.
This premium shave kit includes handmade items from a squad of Veteran craftsmen whose focus on quality and excellence knows no bounds. Hand crafted Rum Runner shaving soap from Marine Corps Veteran Chris McKinney's KBar Soap Co.; a hand-forged Kamisori razor by Army Vet Steve Burton, The Razorsmith; and a hand turned shave bowl and natural badger bristle brush from Navy Veteran Joaquin Juatai of Wah-Tie Woodturning combine to create a transcendent shaving experience.
Handmade, no two razors, bowls, or brushes are alike, but they are all fashioned with a focus on heirloom quality elegance. This exclusive, limited edition shave set is available now for the 2025 holiday season!
Razor care:
- For best results, hone your Kamisori using a leather strop and stropping compound before each use.
- Use as normal, rinsing or wiping your razor between each stroke.
- Your hand-forged razor is made of high-carbon steel, and requires special treatment. After use, dry your razor completely, and coat with a light blade wax or mineral oil to prevent spotting and corrosion.
- Under no circumstances should your razor go in the dishwasher!
- Under no circumstances should your razor sit in water.
- Free lifetime resharpening of razor through The Razorsmith.
Brush and bowl care:
- Your spalted elm shave bowl and brush are coated with an acrylic finish that makes them water resistant, however, they do consist of natural wood, so holding water for long periods, or sitting in standing water is not recommended.
- Rinse your shaving soap and bowl after use, then drain any remaining water. Allow to dry naturally after each use.
- The natural badger bristles of your shave brush may have a slight animal scent. Simply rinse with warm water and mild soap (one or two uses of Rum Runner shaving soap will remove any natural scent).
- After use, rinse your brush thoroughly and shake it well to shed excess moisture. The concave base is designed so your brush can sit upright to dry, or you can hang it on a shave brush stand to dry.
